Sugar Rush is an annual outdoor fall festival located in beautiful downtown Sugar Hill, GA featuring a curated blend of performing, visual, and culinary arts.

As one of many festivals on a full fall calendar, The Sugar Hill Arts Commission wanted to more directly convey that the Sugar Rush Fall Festival is all about the arts. I worked to create a multi-lined logotype atop a CMYK paint splash that represents the variety of arts experiences that make up Sugar Rush’s exciting slate of programming, artists, and performances.

I love the flow of the "G" in Sugar connecting with the "U" in Rush, which is the perfect symbolism for such an anchor of a community event. We added the tagline Artfully Festive ​to make no mistake what Sugar Rush stands for and invite art lovers of all types to join the community in celebrating.
